Educational Assistant​

Location: ECC Little Gems Early Childhood Centre
Employment Type: As per roster, up to 37.5 hours per week
Award: Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award 2020
Reports to: Centre Director

About the Role

Educational Assistants work alongside our qualified educators to support the daily learning environment at Little Gems. This includes helping children individually and in small groups, assisting with supervision and safety, preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and contributing to the smooth running of the centre in line with Early Childhood and Department of Education regulations.

We seek applicants who:

• Demonstrate a genuine Christian faith

• Love working with children and contributing to a Christ-centred community

• Communicate well with children and adults

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism

• Are organised, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
   

Qualifications Required

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education

• Current First Aid qualification (HLTAID004 or equivalent)

• Blue Card or Exemption Card
