Xplor Home
The Xplor Home app is our main platform for keeping families informed and connected throughout the day. It provides real-time updates so you can stay involved in your child’s learning and routines, even when you’re not on site.
Through Xplor Home, you can:

Private Facebook Page
Our Little Gems Facebook group is a private space for current families to stay connected with the centre community. Here, we share reminders, updates, and occasional glimpses of centre life. Access is limited to enrolled families to ensure privacy and safety.
This group helps strengthen our partnership with families and provides an easy way to stay informed about what’s happening at Little Gems.

What to Bring Each Day
Children should arrive with a clearly labelled water bottle, lunchbox, hat and spare clothes. Please ensure all items are named to help us keep belongings organised. Seasonal items like jackets, or rest-time comfort items may also be needed depending on your child’s program. For full details about daily requirements, please refer to our Parent Handbook.
Hours of Operation
Our centre is open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Kindy program hours run from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm during school terms. Long Day Care is available for families needing care before or after Kindy hours.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Please sign your child in and out each day using the Xplor Home kiosk located at the entrance to the Centre. We ask families to support calm, timely transitions at drop-off and to notify staff of any changes to pick-up arrangements. If someone new is collecting your child, they must be authorised on your enrolment profile.
Uniform & Sun Safety
Little Gems shirts and bucket hats are available for purchase at Emerald Industrial Supplies. Please let their staff know you are purchasing items for Little Gems, as the store also supplies uniforms for Emerald Christian College with a different logo. Our new sun-safe shirts are now available for purchase directly through the centre for $55. Further details will be provided during your enrolment interview.
Health & Allergies
If your child has allergies or medical conditions, please provide an action plan from your GP. Children should stay home when unwell to protect the health of others. Medication can only be administered with written authorisation through Xplor.
Communication & Updates
We communicate with families through Xplor Home and our private Facebook group. You’ll receive daily updates, announcements, and important reminders.
